Field Study (3)

for Forest Resources & Ecological Restoration Major

● Date/Time: 17th June (Tue), 7:30 - 18:20    

● 7:30  Departure in front of the PSPS building (Be on time!)

● The 3rd Field Study Tour in Forest Resources is scheduled on Tuesday, 17th June 2014.

    All of the students in forest resources and restoration major are asked to join this tour.

    Tentative schedule is as follows:

   1) Departure at 07:30 in front of PSPS, YU to arrive in Korea Forest Seed & Variety Center (KFSV)

      at Choongju at 10:00. (1) (10:00~12:00)

      Importance of forest seed & variety (seed collection, storage, international issues, UPOV, etc.)

      will be learned. (3) (12:00~13:30) Lunch.

  2) Departure from KFSV (13:30) to arrive in Samsung Tree Nursery located in Jincheon (arrival at

      14:30). (1) (14:30~16:00) Study tour to Tree Nursery. Move to arrive in Jincheon Forest Aviation

      Station (JFAS) at 16:40. Tour to JFAS by 17:30.

  3) Departure from JFAS in Jincheon at 17:30 to arrive in PSPS at around 20:00.

● All of the students must submit their reports

   to Prof.DK Lee (donkoolee@ynu.ac.kr) and Prof. YS Kim at (yongshik@ynu.ac.kr) by 20th June 2014.

    Format and contents of reports are similar to those of the 2nd field study tour.
